The govt doesn’t provide transportation for officers and soldiers. At each check point if you are driving a car by your own, you always get officers and soldiers asking you for a ride to the next check point. This guy, who was very chatty, stayed for an hour with me in the car. So yeah, we had plenty of time to chat about those issues.
