Can you possibly find more (or direct us to) sources on/facts about what’s happening in THE WORKPLACES, CAIRO & COUNTRYWIDE?
You’ve helpfully already reported the SUEZ CANAL AUTH’Y strike & others. Our interest is that – as you’ve allueded to – what the WORKERS do now – making a clear imprint as Workers on the movement is critical to what happens. We hear of ‘CEO’s arrested’ by some workers. What about Occupations of Workplaces …and if I may ‘pre-empt’ ANY ELECTED WORKPLACE-BASED WORKERS’ COUNCILS?
Finally, if I may be greedy for info (!) – any sign of organizeD discontent among the r&f soldiers – the conscripts etc.
Your own account suggests their discomfort is considerable.
Has it taken any organized form that you’ve heard of?
Sorry to ask such a broad sweep – but you are clearly the most serious, Marxist and honest reportage! All other media adhere to a clearly unwritten rule that there is only an ‘abstraction’ – ‘Protesters’ of no social class whatsoever!
