People here in the west need to know that peaceful Bahraini protesters are in danger from their own government. Although Egypt is a country of 80 million and Bahrain only 1.2 million, Bahrainis deserve the same attention for courageously insisting on their own human rights.

All I can say is that I, an ordinary American, intend to do all that I can online to draw attention to this urgent moment in Bahrain. To begin with, I’m linking this post on Twitter and Facebook. I will stay on those and other sites and do my best to rally support for the people of Bahrain.
