I remember that day I heard the news, studying Arabic at univerity of Nijmegen the Netherlands, on radio. I remarked, good that the traitor is dead, who sold out his country to the west and israel. ( Negotiating for peace in the Middle East by Ismail Fahmy )
Another student criticized my remark and said;"how can you say somethimg like that"

In the meantime I am worried about the developments in Egypt and Tunesia. I hope people will prevent; old wine in new bags. As the military is still in power in Egypt I am afraid the will be bribed again by the west and nothing will really change.

Hossam it was some story. I am from Iran and I understand what these regiems are like. The world is better without dictators of course. But I do not wish them death. I do not wish death to any one no matter what they have done. I hope the revolutionary left opposes the death penalty for Mubarak if he gets such a sentence. Socialists must be in the forfront of fight against death penalty.
