As I outlined in the above post, I’m against the call for a general strike on that day indeed, but I’m not suggesting people should sit idly.. I strongly urge everyone to mobilize on that day (in any form they deem suitable) in solidarity with the detainees.. Let’s call it

we appriciate your efforts.

I think what made el Mahallah so different to the rest of Egypt on April 6 was that, they have a clear goal. Most of them are workers and they know what they are looking for.

I think you are against the May 4 th one, but lets hope it will be more effective.
