Akh..
Grain Mill. For the life of me ma3reftesh ageeb kelmet Mill dee..
The workers from the mills at the CC were quite well-spoken. Their contention was not on the basis of any vague or general greivance but a more specific calculation, awareness and sense of how 'un-studied' (gheyr madrusa) state policies were affecting them.
Their conviction, and once again heightened level of awareness was impressive. And inspiring.
I'll never forget how one of the workers exclaimed 'Workers in Egypt have always been accused of knowing no rhetoric but that of rights and demands..
It's not like we make demands because we're greedy ; i've no intention of buying a car really.. i just want to LIVE. Eat, drink, and educate; LIVE.
We ba3deyn, we've always had to take 'economic circumstances' and general 'national conditions' into consideration... and how can we demand this and that when we see what the country is going through. Well it just occoured to us, the fact that we're economically screwed is YOUR fault.. it's YOUR problem. It should give me MORE reason to protest and not LESS. Your fault we're an economic mess, and your fault the workers are in bad shape, and you're still producing policies that will have us sink deeper and deeper in this mess. Workers in Egypt pay the biggest prices for state corruption and 'under-studied' policies. Fix this mess, and don't expect me to sit back quietly until you do..'
