They think this is what it is like in the rest of the world. Couple that with th a 7th century outlook on life (Islam) that endeavors to keep them ignorant and you get people who are very volatile and don’t react well to criticism of any kind.

They in no way represent the views the majority of Danes. But, in general, Danes and others don’t understand very well how Egyptians can tolerate vile and bigoted carictures of Jews in your newspapers, while being so intolerant of alleged blasphemies in Denmark.
