The interrogation of the six Mansoura-España workers, accused of instigating a strike, ended yesterday, but no decision has been announced by the company management.
Today, Ahmad Nour, the company’s security chief, tried to evict trade unionist Mohsen el-Sha’er out of the factory, after the company fired him and five women workers four days ago. But Mohsen refused the order. The five women workers are also inside the factory, refusing to leave.
As time of writing a trade unionist delegation is at the People’s Assembly in Cairo, negotiating with Labor Ministry, bank management, and General Federation officials.
