Mubarak's Central Security Forces in downtown قوات أمن مبارك المركزية بوسط البلد

Posted on 13/06/2007 By 3arabawy

Does anyone know what was going on in downtown yesterday? I was walking around 11am in downtown, when I saw at least six Central Security Forces trucks parked in Talaat Harb, accompanied by police vans. There were also at least two dozen officers, both uniformed and plainclothes, including Sherif el-Qamaty of State Security’s Counter-Communism Bureau (Maktab Mokafahet el-Shyou’eia), and the usual posse from Qasr el-Nil Police Station.

Was there anything organized yesterday in the area around that time? I honestly don’t know… Anyone?
