I spotted them on my way back from the 27 October San Francisco antiwar rally. They were, I was told, from LA and were in West Oakland’s Black New World, a pub/community center, attending a film festival.

Police bans anti-torture protest
Central Security Forces troops and plainclothes police agents laid siege on El-Haram Street on Thursday evening, banning anti-torture activists from assembling in front of the Omraniya Police Station, to protest the deaths of detainees in custody.
