After taking over Maspero the previous night, revolutionaries stage protests in front of the State TV building denouncing its coverage of the uprising, and calling for overthrowing Mubarak.
Protesters attempting to march on the presidential palace, only to be blocked by the army in Salah Salem Road. Thousands managed to reach the palace from other areas in Heliopolis.
