There is an almost daily protest, in front of the Arab League headquarters in Tahrir, by the Syrian youth in Cairo against Bashar el-Assad, and in solidarity with the Syrian uprising.

Libyans in Cairo celebrate Gaddafi’s death
Dozens of Libyans and few Egyptians gathered, Thursday night, in front of the Libyan embassy in Zamalek to celebrate news of Gaddafi’s death.
I also saw in Tahrir earlier and elsewhere cars waving the Libyan Independence flag.
During the march on Maspero, Egyptian protesters were chanting in front of the State TV building promising Field Marshal Tantawi a fate similar to Gaddafi’s.
