Gaza solidarity activist detained
Muhammad Awad was detained few minutes ago by the police in front of the Cairo Press Syndicate in Abdel Khaleq Tharwat Street.
UPDATE: More activists detained in Cairo and Mansoura, including Ghazl el-Mahalla’s Kamal el-Fayoumi and Muhammad Abdul Quddous of the Liberties’ Committee as they were trying to embark with others on a solidarity trip to Gaza that was due to take off today from in front of the Press Syndicate.
UPDATE: I just spoke with Ahmad Abdel Fattah. He is currently detained by the police inside a shop in downtown Cairo’s el-Sharawrbi Street after they confiscated his camera.

Prosecutor to interrogate Gaza solidarity activist
Ahmad Fahim Abdel Aziz, one of the three Egyptians detained by State Security yesterday at the Rafah Crossing, part of an effort to break the Gaza siege and transfer relief supplies, will be interrogated by the Qantara Gharb Prosecutor this morning.
