Tahrir protesters marched on the High Court on Friday, calling for purging the justice system from corrupt judges and sacking Public Prosecutor Abdel Meguid Mahmoud, one of the remnants of Mubarak’s regime.

Socialist lawyer Haitham Mohamadein and other activists gathered in Tahrir Square, singing, chanting in support of labor strikes and the revolution.
The Tahrir Square sit in entered its eighth day on Friday, with anti-government protests and sit-ins continuing around the country. Islamist groups are still absent from the scene.
