Hundreds of high school students, on the first day of resuming the term after long break, staged a march in downtown Cairo, chanting for the revolution, and calling for reforming education.

#Jan25 The fall of Fathi Surrur
During the university professors’ march from Manyal to Tahrir, on 8 February, protesters passed by the parliament, where they stood and chanted: Batel! Batel! (Illegitimate! Illegitimate!), referring to the vote rigging which took place in the elections in November 2010.
Protesters also denounced Fathi Surrur, NDP parliament speaker and one of Mubarak’s most notorious old guards.
In the pictures below, protesters assembled in front of a shop facing the parliament, denouncing Surrur’s banner put up by the shop owner. The owner freaking out, tore it down few minutes later.
