I was told few mins ago that the hunger strike by the Mahalla 3 continues, but blogger Kareem el-Beheiri was transferred to the prison hospital after his health deteriorated.

Updates on the Mahalla detainees
I received the following message from a Socialist activist in Cairo:
.العمال الثلاثة بدأوا إضرابا عن الطعام منذ الاحد الماضى حالة كريم تدهورت أمس الأثنين ..احتجاجا على الافراج عن جميع المعتقلين السياسيين سواهم
The three labor activists (Kamal el-Fayoumi, Kareem el-Beheiri and Tarek Amin) started a hunger strike Sunday, to demand their release.
Kareem’s health condition has deteriorated on Monday. I still don’t have more details. General Habib el-Adly, Mubarak’s Torturer-In-Chief has ordered the release of all political detainees in Bourg el-Arab Prison, except for our three comrades.
