Salafis and police in Alex

Posted on 07/07/201126/02/2021 By 3arabawy

The Alexandrian salafis have convinced nine families, who lost their loved ones during the uprising, to change their testimonies and drop the lawsuits against police officers, in exchange for financial settlement outside court.

This is a disgrace. Shame on the salafis. Those police officers should be tried publicly and those families should have received financial compensations from the interior ministry much early on.

Alexandria senior govt official threatens striking teachers with a gun

This is how our “revolutionary” government negotiates with strikers. In the video below, General Ahmad Badr, the deputy governor of Alexandria, is threatening a striking teachers’ delegation in his office with a gun before kicking them out.

Salafis in Alex

The Salafis in Alexandria are involved in the attempts of “reconciliation” between the martyrs’ families and the police. They are trying to convince the families to drop the lawsuits against police murderers, in exchange or financial compensation, settled outside courts. I’ve been hearing this a lot from activists in Alexandria, and now it’s officially confirmed by this awful “Salafi spokesperson” Abdel Moneim el-Shahhat on Yosri Fouda’s OnTV talkshow.

UPDATE: Here is a report from El-Badeel. And I couldn’t agree more with Alaa:

أنا شايف الشيوخ اللي بتروج للدية يستحقوا الذبح أكثر من ظباط الداخلية نفسهم، ظابط الداخلية شغلته مجرم لكن الثاني ده شغلته ايه؟
