Cairo University under police siege

In anticipation of the Egyptian Universities’ professors’ national strike today Mubarak’s Central Security Forces troops have already moved in and surrounded the Cairo University main campus in Giza.

Elsewhere, the Resistance Students have announced they are mobilizing a march today at Helwan University in solidarity with their professors.

The profs are still determined to go ahead with their national strike on 23 March, despite coming under pressures from the regime.

In other developments, the Socialists on campuses continue mobilizing in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance, while in Alexandria, the Muslim Brotherhood students are facing continuous assaults by police-hired criminal thugs.

Verdict out soon in CTUWS case

The final verdict in the case of banning the Center for Trade Unions and Workers’ Services will be issued on 30 March by the State Council in Giza  Please show up in Solidarity.
