Protesters in Tahrir Square on Friday put up red banner, demanding “the trial of General Hamdi Badeen the military police chief, the killer of the revolutionaries.”

A military police jeep showed up in Tahrir Square on Saturday afternoon following the attack by the Central Security Forces. Protesters immediately started chanting against Field Marshal Tantawi, and chased away the officers, throwing rocks, empty bottles and shoes.
