Army, police crack down on Tahrir sit-in
On the first day of Ramadan, the army and police are now cracking down on the Tahrir sit-in, randomly arresting activists and members of families of the martyrs, tearing down the tents, firing live ammunition into the air.
UPDATE: In the video below, the Muslim Brotherhood declare their support for the police and army’s move against protesters in Tahrir. What a disgrace!

Military police cracked down today on striking workers in Ismailia’s free zone, injuring 36 workers and arresting ten.
