Posted on 31/12/200821/03/2015 By 3arabawy

The Socialist students led hundreds today on Cairo University campus, protesting the Israeli assaults against Gaza, denouncing Hosni Mubarak and the Arab traitors.

The students managed to take the streets but were forced back by the Central Security Forces which besieged the university.

Today Wednesday, Cairo University Socialists are mobilizing a protest in solidarity with Gaza at 11am.

At 12 noon the Socialist Alliance is mobilizing for a solidarity protest in front of the Arab League in Tahrir Sq.

At 3pm, the Muslim Brotherhood are demonstrating in front of the Press Syndicate.

Down with Israel. Down with Mubarak. Victory to the Palestinian Resistance.

Press Syndicate demo

Posted on 29/12/200809/01/2021 By 3arabawy

There is a demonstration taking place now in front of the Press Syndicate, which started around an hour ago.

I’m told there are 2000+ protesters, largely MBs. And according to Jaikus I’m receiving the MBs are intervening and silencing anyone who’s chanting “Down with Hosni Mubarak” and are segregating the men from women protesters. DISGUSTING! All the Muslim Brotherhood’s moves are in coordination with the police.

UPDATE: Mansoura is under the occupation of police troops, while in Cairo Abu Sehla has made an appearance in front of the Press Syndicate.

UPDATE: A video from the protests:
