Here’s a brief history of Egypt’s Gamaa Islamiya: They were nurtured by Sadat to attack the left. They turned against Sadat and killed him. They changed their minds later, saying it was a mistake to to kill Sadat and that in fact he was a martyr. And now they are back to attacking the left.
