Following their comrades in Cairo University, the Resistance Students in Helwan University have called for a demonstration on campus, 6 April, 10:30am in solidarity with the Ghazl el-Mahalla strikers.

Industrial action updates
120 workers at one of the Helwan cement companies staged a sit-in Tuesday demanding an increase in their profit shares.
Also, 300 workers at the privately owned Telephone Equipment Manufacturing Company, south of Cairo in Al-Ma’ssara, went on strike demanding their profit shares and social bonuses.
