Twenty-eight-year-old Mostafa Mahmoud Karim Amin, a resident of the Sohag province with a Cardiovascular condition, died in custody on 19 August after Captain Ahmed Abdel Qader al-Ish [seen below], the Criminal Investigations officer at Gerga Police Station, denied him medical treatment.
The following officers are accused of torturing detainees with beatings and electric shocks at the Wadi el-Natron Prison Complex: the head of Criminal Investigations Mo’men Oweis [seen below], his assistant Ahmed Abdel Sattar, and Lieutenant Ahmed el-Se’idi.
