Activists are calling for a demonstration in front of the HQ of the state-controlled Egyptian Federation of Trade Unions, to protest the sacking of trade unionist Aisha Abdel Aziz, Tuesday, 11 September, 5:30pm.
The demonstration is sponsored by the Center For Socialist Studies, Afaq Socialist Center, the Workers’ Coordination Committee, the Workers’ Solidarity Committee, Workers For Change and Kefaya. The Federation is located at 90 Galaa St., Ramses.

Aisha is indeed one example of the tens of thousands of women workers who have been playing a central brave role in the current wave of strikes… Extending solidarity to her in such moment is crucial, so as not to let her feel she’s alone in her fight..
