  1. During the great uprising of egyptian people to overvthrow Hosni Mubarak, there was a feeling among some people that the armed forces were either on the side of the people or at least neutral.
    Actual experience is proving otherwise. Here is an interesting article about the egyptian people’s rebellion, which also highlights the actual role of the Army:
