Around 700 workers from Telemasr Company, in Talbeya, Giza, are scheduled to stage a sit-in tomorrow Tuesday 12 noon at their factory, protesting the state-owned management’s dismissive attitude towards their demands and grievances:
1- The workers are demanding a halt to the transfer of the Butane stoves production factory, located in Telemasr, to another company, which means job losses for the Telemasr workers.
2-The workers are not receiving their insurance payments on time.
3-Part of their allowances and pay were in goods and services. These have stopped including their daily meal.
4-The management has cut down the transportation service, from 12 to 2 lines of transportation only.
