Monday: London anti-Mubarak protest

Egyptians in London will demonstrate in front of the Egyptian Embassy, Monday 26 March, from 12pm to 3pm, to protest Mubarak’s authoritarian constitutional amendments.

The Embassy is located: 26 South Street, London W1K 1DW

  2. None that I know of. Sorry.
    But if you are in Berlin, you can take an iniative already, and go and stand (even alone) with a banner in front of the Egyptian Embassy on Monday to denounce Mubarak and his constitutional cronies.
    Make sure you contact someone in the local media, to get coverage for your sit-in.

  5. I think the organizers are the Save Egypt Front…however many others from different backgrounds will be there…there’s a whole bunch of people who are not affiliated with any organization or ideology who will be there as normal Egyptians. Hope to see you there.

  7. the reason i’m asking is because I do want to go to this one though I usually avoid demos as they get hijaked by all sorts of irrelevant and leftie type agendas.no offence. thanks for the clarification and a few of us will go as normal egyptians and hope for a turn out of more than five. fingers crossed I guess!

  8. I think it is a wonderful cause and we all must take part to let our pro-American leader know that we would not be subdued to them we will Inshallah submit to Allah o Subhano Taala.

  9. And that’s exactly my point! This one too will probably turn into anti everything chanting session, a few allahu akbars for good measures and of course Mubarak and the constitutional ammendments will be forgotten, no?
    God help the “normal egyptians” who turn up thinking it’s an anti Mubarak rally.
