The regime never forgets its loyal men. Adly receives salutes from officers in his prison, as reported repeatedly in the local press. And in the videos above and below, you can see the army treating Adly, the security chiefs and Mubarak’s sons with all respect and smiles. Compare this treatment to the welcome parties ordinary Egyptian citizens receive when they arrive in prison.

Is there competent local press? Foreigner trying to figure out what news outlet is trustworthy in Egypt and Arab world one gets a feeling that there isn’t any.
I’ve been following English version of Ahram but that doesn’t necessarily reflect Arabic version at all. While they seem critical at first, they have yet to taunt the connection to Tantawi in it’s noteworthy.
I hope the Suleiman and Tantawi will be grilled publicly also. Though I’m not too optimistic, only way I can see of Egypt getting rid of SCAF’s shadow governance is to have leader with political legitimacy and bold enough like Erdogan (not that he is good leader otherwise) to challenge SCAF’s authority.
All the best of luck for your pig hunt.
